Seeing Dallas on the Cheap {Genghis Khan: The Exhibition}

Today start a little mini series I am putting together for families, couples, and out-of-towners who want to do something fun in Dallas without breaking the bank. There are tons of free and really cheap events and activities in Dalas that just aren't advertised so you have to know where to look. I hope these upcoming posts will make that quest a little easier :)
For my first cheap Dallas activity, I present to you all Genghis Khan: The Exhibition now showing at the Irving Arts Center.

This exhibit will uncover the layers of myth surrounding this great conquerer to reveal the actual history of Genghis Khan. A key highlight of the exhibit is the more than 200 Mongolian artifacts on display making it the largest collection ever gathered in a single showing.
The Irving Arts Center is pulling out all the stops for this exhibition, which adds up to more bang for your buck for us :) They will be hosting all sorts of free festivals and activities throughout the summer to promote this exhibit.
