Going to Port Mansfield, TX feels like walking into a scene in a Disney movie. The whole town is a deer preserve and overflows with deer. They are so used to being around humans that they just hang out in the middle of peoples' yards. They even let you get shockingly close without darting off in fear. It is truly impossible to count the number of deer we see each time we go.
