Seeing Dallas on the Cheap {Dallas Museum of Art}

As an art junky, art museums have always been one of my favorite attractions! So I think it's totally awesome that the Dallas Museum of Art is free on the first Tuesday of each month (Special ticket prices may apply to exhibitions).
Also Thursday nights are free  for students and educators with a current school ID from 5–9 p.m.

Seeing Dallas on the Cheap {Nasher Sculpture Center}

Remember that mini-series I was going to start about free or cheap things for people to do while in the Dallas area. Well it's about time I actually finish it, isn't it?

Life, The Future, and the General Mundane

So I know I have been hardcore failing at writing personal blog posts the last few months. I am not even 100% why. I love the idea of blogging. I love reading other people's beautiful blogs. But lately I feel like I have lost my voice.
I think a large part of this is the fact that I have been feeling very burned out lately. I keep talking to Luke about how I honestly feel like I have no "me" time.

Sponsored Post: 2nd.MD

Thank you to 2nd.MD for providing me with a $200 stipend to test-drive this revolutionary online medical service.

I had the great pleasure to be selected by Clever Girls Collective to test drive the new online service from 2nd.MD, the revolutionary service that connects patients with medical specialists for one-on-one virtual consultations. This means you can get all your questions and concerns addressed so you are better prepared for your next appointment with your regular doctor. Their mission is simple and was inspired by the founder's own medical experience with his daughter. Just hearing their story made me feel that this was a company that might actually care about its clients.

December Intentions

Although I did actually complete most of my October intentions I was so overwhelmed with the move in November to actually reflect or intend for that month. So now it's December and I have decided to start fresh.

  • Get back on WeightWatchers and stay on it
  • Exercise at least 3 times a week
  • Take a photo a day of me and Luke
  • Learn to etch glass
  • Reunite with old friends in the Valley
  • Finish my Arrested Development game
  • Organize the house and purge more stuff
  • Do what ever it takes to stay happy and positive and rejoice in the changing season
