So we have officially moved and have been working on settling in. Of course with my work and our pioneer schedule the remodeling plans and work has been slow going :-/
The above is a picture of our house as is on moving in day. It was originally a little 3-room cinder block house that my great-grandparents moved into in the 60's. This is also the house where my mom grew up. At some point the front porch was converted into a bedroom for her and a bathroom was added on in the 70's-ish. In 2006, a 360 sq ft addition was added to the back to serve as a living/dining room. Then in 2009 the bathroom was completely remodeled with a walk-in tile shower and all. So other than decor that one room is done and at the bottom of our to do list.
Below you will find a copy of our floor plan and I will be posting our room plans every Thursday along with before and after pictures as we scratch the projects off.
So there you have our "new" little old house. I am looking forward to finally leaving our mark on a place and truly making it our own.
