Twenty Twelve in Review

I am keeping up with my annual tradition and reviewing my year in blog posts but I am also listing some items I didn't blog about that were big deals in our life as well :)

January

I was in my first car accident.

I learned how to bake the perfect cake.

I refashioned a vintage wedding dress.

We went on our first real vacation since our honeymoon by going on a cruise to the Caribbean.

February

We brought home baby Blue.

I discovered that a match stick really does prevent tearing up with onions.

I started Project 333.

I ombre dyed my hair all by myself.

March

I painted Owlbert Einstein finally.

I designed My Ideal Bookshelf.

Luke was appointed a Ministerial Servant.

April

We survived the tornado apocalypse of Dallas.
I learned how to french braid my hair for the Memorial.
I brought home one of my best yard sale loots ever.
I brainstormed new business ideas.

May

We moved to South Texas.
We started planning our kitchen remodel.

June
I blogged about our 2nd wedding anniversary.
I shared our monthly budget.
I participated in a Homemade Gift Exchange.

July
I started the Smart Phone Diet.
I organized my office.
I shared pics of how we fixed up our bathroom.
I actually managed to only spend $20 on groceries for a week.
We made some progress on the kitchen.

Luke was on his first convention part.
I was inspired by our District Convention to write a heart felt, tear filled letter that changed a friend's life.
Luke got hired to be an instructor at STC in starting in the fall.

August

Luke attended pioneer school.
I shared our financial goals.
I made a break-up survival kit for a close friend.
I made the best hangers ever!
I shared my feeling about my career choices. 

Luke started his dream job as a college instructor.

September
I priced around for cheaper car insurance.
I designed my first purse/laptop bag.
I decided I wanted to start a memory bank.
I shared our collection of photo books.
I crunched numbers on a European vacation.
I learned how to do a Beehive in 5 minutes.

October
I got a little baby crazy as I can now see by the posts I wrote that month :-/
I shared my thoughts and emotions on having kids.
I took my first set of maternity photos.
I shared some tips on identity security online.
I helped plan a monkey themed baby shower.
I made some awesome baby gifts.
I made a date night jar.
I fell in love with custom sock dogs.
Our kitchen took on a new look.

I completed an invitation suite for the premier of a Major Motion Picture but 2/3 of the order was lost by the USPS :(

November

I designed a map of the United States of YA.
I got into couponing again.

December

I created a 101 in 1001 list.
We got health insurance and I started a series of doctors' visits to address some minor concerns.
I started Project 30.30.30.
We bought a new car! :)
I went to the dig.

We applied to attend a 2013 Special Convention.
