Home Plans: The Bathroom Makeover

Our bathroom was the nicest room in our new house when we moved in. It had been remodeled for my great-grandmother in '09 to make it handicap accesible so everything was new and clean.

That being said it still needed some help...

Our biggest issues were that the medicine cabinet and mirror were in an awkward placement adjacent to the toilet and there was limited space to stow all our toiletries. Seeing as how we didn't want to spend a lot of time or money on this room, we decided to just make a couple minor changes to makeover our bathroom into the perfect solution.
So here what we did...

5 quick and easy steps to a beautiful bathroom makeover

1. We moved the medicine cabinet to be facing the toilet providing better access and mirror location.

2. Where the medicine cabinet had been before, we hung some pretty wall art to dress up the room and make it more homey.

3. We also installed an extendable mirror so we each have our own and I can see the back of my hair while I'm styling it ;)

4. I picked up a simple over the door hook set for a space saving place to hang our bath towels.

5. My favorite addition was this little wood crate I white washed and hung to hold all our most used toiletries. It's in the perfect location over our sink!

We were able to completely makeover our bathroom in a matter of a couple hours and I think it look so much better and is definitely guest ready! The best part is that it didn't break the bank at just under $25 :)
